Introduction: Appendiceal NENs are usually diagnosed incidentally on histology following an appendicectomy. They include carcinoid tumours (appendiceal neuroendocrine tumours, NETs) and GCC. GCC neoplasms are able to transform to an adenocarcinoma phenotype.
